Save Some Bacon

I'm introducing a great two days at Walgreens for any of you who are unfamiliar with "Double Dip Days."

For those unfamiliar with the term "double-dipping", it refers to the two days each month where the EasySaver booklets overlap and the coupon from one book can be combined with a rebate from the other book which can also be stacked with a manufacturer's coupon.

You don't need multiple copies of the ES booklet coupons. The machine will automatically apply the coupon discount to all items in your order, even though the coupon in the booklet states that it will be for "one item only." Ignore that part, Wags will take the discount off of all items that qualify automatically.

The October ESR Booklet ends on October 26.

The November ESR Booklet begins on October 24.

There is also an ad running during the week that can apply to these two ESR books (which makes the deals pretty good).

I have to be honest, past months have been MUCH better than this month's. There are no freebies (there are usually many of them), and I've read on other blogs and forums that November and December's suck. Rest assured that I have already read about how they pick back up in the New Year.

That said, there are still a few good deals to be had, and Walgreens usually issues a $5/$20 coupon online a day or two before the deals are good -- just remember you have to go on the 24th and 25^th.
