My husband was told by a Walmart manager he spoke to yesterday (a friend of the family) that there are several Walmarts in the central Florida area (maybe everywhere but I only know about the local ones) that are running unadvertised specials now through Christmas.
What they are doing is calling over the intercom and saying something like "For fifteen minutes only there is a specail price on ____________, come to the ___________ department". You then have 15 minutes to run and get the item and check out while supplies last.
A couple of examples bags of bark mulch for .99 and notebook computers for 250. They sold out of their supply of the computers in 15 minutes
