Save Some Bacon

I've just not been seeing the same number of specials that match with insert or IP coupons. Last summer, I was doing so well with insert Qs, this year Publix just doesn't seem to want to offer the same!

Maybe we can do better at a different store...

I am excited about the Mott's for Tot's juice, though. We're just finishing the last bottle of about 35 that I got several months ago, and this week's Publix special (BOGO $2.95) makes two bottles $0.95. CJ goes through this stuff like water -- it's already half water, then I add one part water to one part juice on top of that. Makes the bottle stretch a lot further, plus gives hima little taste to the water (since by the time it's that diluted, it's really just water with a hint of color). We go through at least twelve sippy cups of water a day, plus the milk or full strength juice he drinks with his meals, so I like to give him a little bit of juice to the water every few cupfuls. A buck for two big bottles is a pretty good deal!

And PS, Cory and Emma drink this juice, too. Emma doesn't know the difference, even though it's half the sugar...and Mr. Workout Cory likes that the calorie and sugar count is much lower than regular juice.
