In the past, Staples, Office Depot & Office Max have run school supply sales. Each week they usually have one item that is on sale for $0.01. In the past $0.01 items have included: 10ct pencils, slider school boxes, rulers, white glue, folders (w/ & w/out prongs), mini .5oz Purell, etc.
Staples officially begins their penny sales on Sunday 8/2. Not sure about the others.
